Ability to utilize reliable transportation to promptly report to job assignment and other locations, per job requirements.

Meets accuracy and speed standards for shelving.

Helps ensure that the location is neat, orderly, appealing and inviting to customers and staff and other clerical duties as assigned.

Assists location staff in coordinating volunteer activities.

Performs additional duties as assigned including serving on task forces, committees, etc.

16 years of age (work permit required for minors).

Performs other duties as determined by manager and clinic needs

2+ years of acute care nursing and/or infusion or ambulatory care nursing experience

2+ years of experience in administrating antineoplastic agents

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes

Implements nursing interventions based on plan of care

Registered Nurse, appropriate state license, with experience in IV therapy.

Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is required.

Must have strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Current CPR & BLS certifications are required.

Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills is required.

Ability to assess patient needs and condition is essential.

Education: RN required; BSN preferred

Experience: 2 years acute care nursing experience, prefer infusion/injection experience

Additonal: BLS required, ACLS recommended and can be completed within 1 year of hire

This position provides daily patient care in the outpatient infusion and injection clinic.

Will cross train to complete prior authorizations for medications given in the department.
