They work closely with nurses and physicians to ensure that patients receive the best care possible. They are responsible for preparing and administering IV medications, monitoring patients during treatments, and providing patient education. Detailed Job Description Infusion Medical Assistants are responsible for preparing and administering IV medications and treatments. This includes setting up IV lines, monitoring patients during treatments, and providing patient education. They must be knowledgeable about the medications and treatments they are administering and be able to recognize any adverse reactions. They must also be able to provide patient education on the medications and treatments they are administering. Job Skills Required
