Infrastructure Network Engineer Jobs

Move, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACD) of Unified Communications (UC).

Ordering devices for State Agencies for cellular.

Ordering of Circuits to include MPLS. Ethernet, Broadband, and DSL.

This position will work within various vendor websites and the Cisco suite of products.

2+ years of experience with conducting network discovery, including analyzing and documenting system requirements

Experience with developing and executing test and implementation plans based on requirements

5+ years of experience with providing implementation and engineering support for DoD enterprise networks

5+ years of experience with commercial hardware and networks and cloud environments

Experience with networking technologies and core Internet protocols, wireless, and distributed networks

Experience with multiple vendors networking solutions, including Cisco, HP and Aruba, Palo Alto, Arista, or Juniper

2+ years people management experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

1+ year experience delivering network designs into production and experience with live site accountability for a network.

5+ years experience with network authentication systems such as TACACS+ (Terminal Access Controller Access Control System).

Critical Infrastructure Network Engineering Manager

Participate in on-call DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) rotation to support Network Infrastructure services.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in Optical or IP network operations.

Knowledge of fiber types and their application, including physical fiber characteristics, and standard testing tools (e.g., OSA, BERT, OTDR).

Knowledge of networking and fundamentals of network troubleshooting Layer 1 and Layer 3.

Knowledge of network transport design, equipment and infrastructure.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

8+ years of network engineering experience.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Automation and scripting experience (Ansible, Python).

Knowledge of SDN and network virtualization technologies.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Proficiency in SDWAN, Cisco ACI, Load Balancer, Firewall Security, and Cloud Infrastructure.
