Infection Preventionist Part Time Jobs in California

Written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of principles of epidemiology and/or member of APIC preferred.

Ensures resident/patient care meets Federal, State and Company standards.

Promotes and maintains infection control guidelines and standards.

Coordinates and conducts infection control activities.

Provides essential information necessary to maintain infection control standards.

Previous experience as an Infection Preventionist.Or

3 Years Experience in acute care hospital.

International Medical Technologist MT(ASCP) - ASCP Board of Certification -PREFERRED

Certified in Infection Control (CIC) - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology -PREFERRED

California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -PREFERRED

Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

Required: Minimum three (3) years of experience in an acute care setting.

Preferred: Five (5) years of experience in infection control & epidemiology.

Required: Knowledge of Joint Commission, CDC, CAL OSHA, CDPH standards for infection prevention and control.

Required: Certified in Infection Prevention and Control within two years of hire.
