Overview Infection Control Preventionists are healthcare professionals responsible for preventing the spread of infectious diseases in healthcare settings. They work to identify, assess, and control the spread of infectious diseases, and to ensure that healthcare facilities are in compliance with infection control regulations. Detailed Job Description Infection Control Preventionists are responsible for developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures in healthcare facilities. They must identify, assess, and control the spread of infectious diseases, and ensure that healthcare facilities are in compliance with infection control regulations. They must also monitor and evaluate infection control practices, and provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection control procedures. Job Skills Required

• Ability to develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
• Ability to identify, assess, and control the spread of infectious diseases

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, or a related field
• Certification in infection control (CIC)
• At least two years of experience in infection control
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
