Working knowledge of Internal risk management standards - PTW (WAH, Hot, Confined, LOTO / Isolation, Chemical)

Extensive knowledge and experience of the principles of operation of production equipment used within the PET Carbonated Bottling industry

Exceptional Fault Finding Skills including knowledge of structured Fault Finding Techniques (6 Point, 1/2 Split, Substitution, I/P to O/P, Emergence Seq)

Work collaboratively with all adjacent teams (PCs, Shift Managers Quality and Technical Ops) to resolve issues rapidly and drive improvement

Good knowledge of engineering principles and their practical application through industry standard generic components.

Practical engineering skills including hand tools and machine tools.

Ensures that periodic and preventive maintenance are accomplished according to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager’s direction.

Must have good communications skills to maintain good working relationships with transportation and production departments.

2+ years of experience working in a mechanical role in a manufacturing environment focused on process improvement.

Analytical thinking skills, problem solving ability required.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Prior experience in Mechanical Maintenance or Industrial Maintenance preferred

High School Diploma or GED equivalent or an Associates Degree from a technical institution with 2+ years experience

A minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment
