They also provide technical assistance to facility operators and prepare reports of their findings. Detailed Job Description Industrial Pretreatment Inspectors are responsible for conducting inspections of industrial facilities to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to wastewater discharge. They inspect facilities for compliance with pretreatment regulations, collect samples, and analyze wastewater for pollutants. They also provide technical assistance to facility operators and prepare reports of their findings. They may also be responsible for conducting educational programs and seminars to inform facility operators of their responsibilities and the regulations they must follow. Job Skills Required
