Industrial Or Mechanical Engineer Jobs

Experience or education in electrical and/or electronic control systems.

Experience with radioactive waste handling and processing requirements.

Operate and maintain robotic remote handling equipment.

Demonstrated and current hands on experience with the operation of mechanical systems and design.

Experience following procedures and adhering to engineering policies, programs, and practices.

Experience performing work and/or leading work in the field (non-office environment).

Supports execution planning by using project management, planning and scheduling and shop load practices

1 or more year’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Applies basic industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements

Follows compliance requirements with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines

Supports the development of plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flows

Experience with radioactive waste handling and processing requirements.

Operate robotic remote handling equipment.

Experience with design and/or operation of mechanical, hydronic, cryogenic, or vacuum systems.

Experience with CAD software and strength analysis packages.

Experience writing work documents or procedures incorporating various safety, environmental, radiological and other controls.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot target cooling systems including radioactive water and cryogenic systems.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Contributes to proposal development, technical coordination, and risk management.

Ensures regular communication with cross-functional engineering teams to maintain an understanding of project requirements and specifications.

Actively seeks out various educational and training opportunities to keep current and demonstrate continuous growth.

5+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on technology adoption, integration, and innovation.

Experience with EOS, GE Additive, and DED machine architectures
