For Qur'an teachers, sound knowledge and implementation of the rules of Tajweed is required

Teacher certification is a plus

Must have experience teaching Arabic, Qur'an and Islamic Studies in a classroom setting

Ijaza (Certification) in teaching and memorization of Quran with Tajweed and meet any other credentialing requirements.

Maintain discipline according to the behavior management policy of the school.

Helps students practice and deepen new knowledge by using and practicing learning skills and strategies.

Exemplify strong Islamic character and possess sound knowledge of Islam

Demonstrating a high level of relevant curriculum knowledge, especially in Fiqh, aqeedah, Islamic history, & Quranic tajweed.

Demonstrating a high level of relevant curriculum knowledge of ACTFL standards (Arabic)

$68,000 - $95,000 Depending on Experience

Use assessments and data to influence instruction for student success and keep grade, attendance and retention records.

Meet with students and parents to discuss student progress and problems.

CA Preliminary or Clear single subject teaching credential with English Language Authorization (ELA)
