They may also be responsible for providing patient care, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and assisting radiologists with imaging procedures. Detailed Job Description Imaging Assistants are responsible for providing support to medical imaging departments by performing a variety of tasks related to the operation of imaging equipment. This includes setting up and operating imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines. They may also be responsible for providing patient care, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and assisting radiologists with imaging procedures. Imaging Assistants may also be responsible for maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring that it is in proper working order, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Job Skills Required
