HVAC Mechanic III is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. They must be knowledgeable in the principles of thermodynamics, electricity, and mechanics. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems and make necessary repairs. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. They must be able to install and maintain HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and electrical components. They must be able to use hand and power tools, as well as specialized HVAC tools and equipment. They must be able to follow safety procedures and regulations.
