Hvac Mechanic Apprentice Jobs in California

You will have the opportunity to attend in class and online training to advance your knowledge and certifications.

Work under direct supervision of the lead mechanic and other experienced mechanics

Proactively manage safety issues and practice Take 5! process by using the HAT tool to promote personal responsibility for safety

Brakes and hydraulic systems certification required (will be trained to obtain within 12-36 months of employment)

You will be trained in performing standard mechanic repairs and DOT BIT Inspections

Good verbal and written communication skills

EPA Refrigeration certification a plus

High School Diploma or equivalent

Familiarity with HVAC equipment commercial or residential

Ability to perform general building maintenance

Self-starter with ability to work independently
