Human Services Director Jobs in Utah

Candidates must have 10+ years’ experience working on space related programs, technologies and/or products

Strong verbal and written communications skills, ability to develop and execute political and legislative strategy, and competency in using Microsoft programs.

Expertise – Demonstrated tactical and strategic capabilities with sound policy judgment.

Develop long-term business strategy for the Human Space Products

Develop business plans that allow for a mix of RDE and partnership funding to develop new products

Drive on-time execution to current year goals

A combination of equivalent education and work experience may be substituted for the above requirements

Strong managerial skills of both projects and staff

Experience with quality assurance procedures

Accuracy with work, strong organization skills, and attention to detail

Acts as project director or principal investigator for major Mathematica projects

Regularly leads proposal content development, and leads the quality assurance reviews of other proposals in their field of expertise

Working Conditions And Physical Requirements

Assesses the need for Human Services in the community and allocates the resources to meet those needs.

Coordinates intergovernmental relations with local, State, and Federal government agencies that affect the Department.

Supervises staff, which includes hiring, orienting, training, assigning and reviewing work performance, annual work performance appraisals, and discipline.

Serves as a member of the Mayor's Executive Cabinet and contributes to the administration's strategic plan and direction

Directs and oversees the preparation, justification, and administration of the Department's budget.
