• You will have solid experience analyzing US energy markets, with a particular focus on electric power.

• Excellent data analysis, modelling, and coding skills using systems like Python are required.

• Strong Excel skills are a plus.

• Building or enhancing operating analytical models to provide detailed insights and forecasts.

• Strong communicator in written, slide (PowerPoint) and verbal mediums.

Applying product and capital markets knowledge to help clients achieve their financial objectives.

Completed Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics, Science or Technology;

Strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting and financial theory;

Strong written and verbal communication skills;

The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work;

Related experience is an asset, but not required.

Someone who’s had experience covering money in politics, and has clips to show proficiency in doing so

Someone who can juggle daily stories with short- and long-term enterprise, as well as alternative story formats

Someone familiar with best practices on social media, knowing that this is key to getting eyeballs on great journalism
