MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

A minimum of 2 years management experience in a hospitality or related field is required.

Participate in the Manager on Duty program.

A minimum of 5 years housekeeping experience in a hotel or related environment is required.

Possess excellent communication skills, interacting effectively with guests and all team-members.

Working knowledge of budgetary and forecasting process.

Improves self-knowledge through voluntarily attending continuing education/certification classes.

Demonstrates knowledge of how to handle hazardous waste safely and appropriately, following safety rules and guidelines.

Demonstrates knowledge of how to perform individual duties during disasters, tornado, bomb threat, infant abduction situation and/or hostage situation.

Demonstrates age-specific skills as required by position.

Offers suggestions on ways to improve operations of department and reduce costs.

Attends all mandatory education programs.
