Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Keep things working! Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls. Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.

Keep things festive! Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you:

Follows prescribed health guidelines in accomplishing assigned responsibilities.

Demonstrates sound judgment in carrying out different tasks of assigned responsibilities.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following:

No formal experience required; on the job training is provided

1 year of experience working directly with customers strongly preferred

Physical/Mental Demands/Requirements & Work Environment

Previous experience in industrial cleaning, environmental service or housekeeping work

Excellent communication and customer service skills

High School Diploma or GED

Laundering of residents’ personal items (ex. clothes, bed linens) as well as facility items (ex. table linens),

Pick up dirty laundry and return clean, folded laundry to residents within 24-48 hours

Maintain laundry room and storage area

Monitor inventory of laundry supplies

Perform related janitorial duties as assigned

Other tasks as requested by supervisor
