Hospital Service Manager Jobs in Texas

Ability/aptitude to learn computer blood banking/inventory management software and programs

Some experience with computers, printers, and cellular phones

Some experience with direct customer service interaction

Good verbal and written English communication skills

Working knowledge of area highways, freeways, major thoroughfares, and alternate routes to various areas

Six months or more driving in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area preferred

Maintain knowledge of all connectivity products (i.e. Care 360, e-orders, e-prescribe) and new tests.

5+ years of successful experience providing services to healthcare providers.

3+ years of sales experience

Knowledge of reference laboratory business, esoteric tests, and processes helpful

Knowledge of the healthcare industry, payors, and regulations

Drive sales growth in existing hospital accounts through targeting new sales opportunities and identifying and closing potential leakage opportunities.

Work exposure to all aspects of a business enterprise, with demonstrated competence in budgeting and financial reporting and in staff management.

Must be able to tactfully demonstrate “take charge” capabilities.

Hires and manages support staff and/or staff supervisors; schedules staff and doctors.

In consultation with owners and doctors, sets and periodically reviews salaries and benefits.

Provides phase training and helps staff plan for continuing education; establishes and maintains publications and veterinary medicine library.

Minimum three years working in a veterinary practice, unless proven results from other business identity.
