The Hospital Admissions Coordinator is also responsible for verifying insurance coverage and obtaining pre-authorization for services, as well as ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and filed in a timely manner. The Hospital Admissions Coordinator is also responsible for providing patient education and support throughout the admissions process.
