Histo Technicians are responsible for preparing tissue samples for microscopic examination by pathologists. This includes cutting, staining, and mounting tissue samples on slides for examination. Histo Technicians must be able to accurately and precisely cut and mount tissue samples on slides. They must also be able to accurately and precisely stain tissue samples. Histo Technicians must also be able to accurately and precisely label slides and other materials. Histo Technicians must also be able to accurately and precisely record data related to tissue samples.
