Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1-2+ years of experience as an Electrical Helper/Apprentice

Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Must have at least 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrical Helper.

Must have basic knowledge of electrical construction processes.

Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have 1-2+ years of experience as an Industrial Ironworker Helper.

Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Must have experience with rigging and rigging equipment.

Must be able to illustrate knowledge of the construction process of constructing a steel/iron structure.

Industrial construction/maintenance industry experience preferred

Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: location, quantities, and sizes of materials required

Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products

Set up face block, jigs, and fixtures

Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or riveting

Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive Motions

Travel is a must with extended periods away from home in remote areas at times.

Possess knowledge of pipe fittings, bolts, valves, etc, as required.

6 months previous experience working in an industrial environment

Must be able to meet all physical requirements

Previous experience reading ISO’s and drawings

Past exposure to different metals and knowledge of pipe fittings, bolts, valves, etc.

Expected to train on Exchanger craft, including knowledge of exchanger types, exchanger-specific tooling, and procedures.

Have completion of a recognized Pipefitter or Boilermaker apprenticeship program or two years of verifiable journeyman level pipefitter/boilermaker work experience required.

Must be knowledgeable on the use of tools/equipment of the trade and general rigging methods.

Must qualify to similar MPC Welding Procedures per the requirements of ASME Section IX.

Work experience in a refining, petrochemical, or other related industry preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SAP preferred.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively with management/ supervision

Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary

Assist Pipefitter in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials during installation

Perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities

Assist Pipefitter in installation of all types of piping by learning to use appropriate hand and power tools

Basic knowledge of P&ID's, ISO’s, orthographic drawings, and other piping related drawings.

Must be willing and able to meet all Company and Customer project entry requirements including training, background check, and drug test.

Must be able to meet all physical and work environment requirements.

Previous experience in a heavy industrial construction environment.

Some knowledge of P&IDs, ISO’s, and orthographic drawings.

Must have 1-12 months of experience working on an industrial construction project in the warehouse or equivalent material handler position

Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Assist team to Receive and count stock items and turn in packaging slip to materials clerk with the accurate material count.

Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

Must have 1-12 months of experience working for an industrial construction project in the warehouse or equivalent material handler position

Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below).

Must have 1-2+ years of experience as a helper scaffold builder.

Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Must have knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction.

Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.

Experience working with scaffolding, insulation, and painting.

Must have 1-12 months of experience working as an industrial Pipefitter Helper

Must meet all qualifications below. (See below).

Must have experience on an industrial construction project.

Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.

Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements.

Must be able to follow instructions.

The degree of job responsibilities and requirements may vary depending on months of experience.

Minimum 18 months relevant industrial experience - Able to perform some journey tasks with close supervision/direction and support.

Minimum 1 year relevant industrial experience - Able to perform most support tasks proficiently with some supervision/direction.

Assists skilled craftsperson in the performance of their duties by performing supportive type chores as directed by the craftsperson.

Can and often performs journey tasks, contingent on the level of experience and directions from the journey Iron Worker.

18-36 months of documented field experience in chosen craft discipline.
