3-5 years Microsoft SQL experience specifically using SQL to build queries, reports and analyze healthcare data. SQL certification preferred

4 years data analysis and business knowledge within a healthcare environment and testing arena

3+ years’ experience with the Microsoft Reporting Tool SSRS

2+ years’ experience with state Medicaid agencies and/or vendors focusing on analysis or provider, member and claims data.

Healthcare experience with Pharmacy - Clinical experience - The role is for an SPBM Program.

Work Experience Required: 2 years experience using Data Analytics tools

Work Experience Preferred: 2 years experience using Data Analytics tools in a clinical setting

Researches, designs, develops, implements, and maintains reporting and analytical facilities in the context of the hospital's clinical and/or financial systems.

Collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to ensure that reports are timely, accurate, meaningful, and interpretable.

Generates reports from a variety of internal and external sources including benchmarking databases e.g. PHIS, PACT, specialty specific registries.

Performs standardized data validation activities to ensure the highest quality information for decision-making.

6 months experience with health related analytic research and quality improvement methodology (ISO, CQI, TQM, Six Sigma, Lean, Etc.) preferred.

Trend data to identify potential opportunities (e.g., variances, significant outliers, percentile ranked groups) for quality improvement or focused investigations.
