Health Room Assistant Jobs

High School diploma or equivalent. Experience working with young children preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Computer skills in Word, Excel and database entry.

Screen children for possible health concerns.

Assist with monitoring, documenting and updating health records for children in the database.

Maintain confidentiality of communications and records at all times.

TB Test within the last 60 days (Education Code 49406, Assembly Bill 1667)

Upon Conditional Offer of Employment:

DOJ and FBI Criminal Background Check

Complete district Mandated Reporter training, Sexual Harassment, etc.

Must obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR Certificate (In-Person Training ONLY)

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?

Must be currently enrolled at UK

ability to push and/or lift of object up to 40 pounds

Provides clerical and administrative support to the Program Coordinator, Director of KTS, Education Director, and Special Education Program Director

A High School Diploma and at least one year experience working with children

Must have and maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration

Support and maintain the highest professional standards consistent with the objectives and procedures of the Treatment and Learning Centers.

Ability to use situational workplace judgement and assume the risk in working with students/children with acting out/behavioral challenges
