They ensure that all patient information is accurate and up-to-date, and they are responsible for filing and retrieving medical records as needed. Detailed Job Description Health Information Clerks are responsible for maintaining and organizing medical records in a healthcare setting. They ensure that all patient information is accurate and up-to-date, and they are responsible for filing and retrieving medical records as needed. They may also be responsible for coding and abstracting medical records, as well as entering patient information into a computer system. Health Information Clerks must be familiar with medical terminology and have excellent organizational skills. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
