Overview GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) is a digital mobile network used by mobile phone operators to provide voice and data services to their customers. GSM is the most widely used mobile network technology in the world, and is used by over 5 billion people in more than 200 countries. Detailed Job Description GSM technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of GSM networks. They must be knowledgeable in the latest GSM technologies and be able to troubleshoot any issues that arise. They must also be able to install and configure GSM equipment, and be able to diagnose and repair any hardware or software issues. GSM technicians must be able to work independently and as part of a team. They must be able to communicate effectively with customers and other technicians. They must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks at once. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of GSM technologies and systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose GSM network issues
• Ability to install and configure GSM equipment
• Knowledge of mobile network protocols
• Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) principles
• Knowledge of network security principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Certification in GSM technologies (e.g. GSM Association Certified Professional)
• 5+ years of experience in GSM network installation, maintenance, and repair
