Grounds Maintenance Specialist Jobs

Perform skilled irrigation systems maintenance, installation and repair work.

Two years of grounds maintenance experience that includes irrigation system installation and maintenance related work.

Some positions in this class may be required to attend Forklift Training and obtain certification.

Experience with grounds and landscape power equipment, experience pruning and shrub bed maintenance, and tree pruning, trimming, and removal.

Must have, or be able to obtain at time of hire, a valid driver's license.

Physical ability to perform the tasks.

Grounds & Nursery Specialist 1

Two (2) years grounds maintenance, light equipment operation, and customer service experience.

Work has standard vision requirements.

Performs routine grounds maintenance including lawn mowing, weed whipping, lawn repair, landscape maintenance, tree and shrub pruning, and trash removal.

Operates lawn equipment including mowers, weed trimmers, snow blowers, hand tools, and power tools for assigned areas.

Cleans, lubricates, and performs preventive maintenance or repair on small equipment.

Mows infield; drags, lines, chalks, and prepares baseball, softball and soccer athletic fields.
