Graphics And Media Coordinator Jobs

Strong working knowledge of all department technologies relating to file transfer from studio to remote production units

Fundamental understanding of time management technique

Work with Graphics Technology group within department for all elements (including style guides) needed to complete remote and studio deliveries

Maintain working knowledge of all production relating to graphics at all times

Strong working knowledge of all digital graphic file formats and their appropriate applications

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects

Two years of professional experience in galleries, libraries, archives, museums or related field

Experience with graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Bachelor’s degree in art, marketing, design, library science, museum studies, or related field

Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills

Manage projects, including setting priorities, assigning work and defining milestones

Experience with news graphics (or equivalent work) that incorporates data analysis, graphics and interactive design

Interest and experience in leading trainings and mentoring peers

Experience with shaping standardized workflows, robust style guides and templated code

Edit content, including line-editing copy, assessing visuals and reviewing code

Highly organized workflow and file management

Experience creating and using spreadsheets

Experience in film or entertainment marketing is a plus

Work closely with the Art Director to oversee the completion of graphics requests

Communicate with designers and producers about graphics needs and deadlines

Prioritize workflow of the graphics department

§ Experience working with photo agencies who supply news outlets, rights managed and royalty free areas

Working closely with the N.Y. based digital news team your responsibilities will include:

§ Manage individual workflow and research to deliver to tight deadlines

§ At least one year or more of experience in a newsroom environment – digital news preferred

§ Ability to work under tight deadline pressure with strong organizational skills

§ Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and the latest interactive technologies
