Grants Accounting Manager Senior Jobs in California

Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience,

Prior experience in public accounting is mandatory.

Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting, with knowledge of cost accounting being a plus.

Experience with complex ERP systems

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and exceptional analytical skills.

Lead cross-functional projects to improve the level of internal control and risk management

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA / CA / MBA preferred

7+ years of related business experience Retail industry preferred but not a must

Advanced skills with Excel applications (PIVOTs, SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs, macros)

Must demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Driven, able to balance multiple priorities. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization

6+ years of production and corporate accounting experience.

Experience with Forecasting the P&L, BS and Cashflow.

Strong preference for candidates from media & entertainment & public/private firms.

Manage performance reporting of funds

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent major

Previous audit experience at a public accounting firm

Expert-level knowledge of MS Excel (v-Lookups, Pivot Tables)

Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant foundation fundraising experience and project management experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite; experience with Asana or other project management software preferred.

Grace under pressure, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage projects with tact, diplomacy, and good humor.

BA/BS or equivalent work experience.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to build professional relationships with funders.

Experience with Salesforce preferred, along with a general understanding of data systems and web-based CRMs.
