Gis Data Analyst Jobs in Idaho

Education: Bachelor’s degree in geographic information systems, geography, earth science, engineering, computer science, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in geographic information systems (GIS) or related industry.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize projects of varying priority levels.

Perform mapping functions and maintain source datasets in the support, planning and development of utility-scale solar and storage projects.

Provide professional expertise and support to in-house staff and third-party vendors as needed.

Project management, planning, organization, and customer service skills

Assists with management of the Public Works asset management system and citys service request system (Cityworks)

Knowledge of and skills with:

Supports in the interpretation, digitization, acquisition, and processing of remotely sensed data, aerial photography, and satellite imagery

Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to business needs
