Geospatial And Stem Project Coordinator Jobs

Provides subject matter expertise on geospatial analysis, geospatial visualization, tailored map products, and geospatial data management.

Imagery Exploitation Software (SOCET GXP, RemoteView) and working knowledge of Cedalion.

Responsibilities include extracting and/or acquiring geospatial information, derivative information and multi-INT data for analysis, visualization and modeling.

This position requires strong collaboration skills with analyst, mission partners and customers.

Proficiency with digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry.

Demonstrated knowledge of commercial imagery, products, processes and sensors

Perform QA/QC and ensure proper data management

Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or other related discipline; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Meet Program training and DoD medical examination requirements for deployment, including meeting all CONUS Replacement Course (CRC) deployment requirements

Practical geospatial analysis experience (professional or volunteer)

Previous experience with commercial-off-the-shelf geospatial software such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, Microstation, TerraScan, ERDAS Imagine, etc.

Excellent organizational and communication skills

At least one years’ experience in geospatial project development, STEM Education and/or research and project management.

Enhanced skills on use of ArcGIS Desktop and Pro versions, UAV-Drone and Lidar data and ArcGIS software administration and license management.

Practical experience in database management and basic statistics in Excel, ArcGIS Pro, SPSS or R Suite.

Assist in managing geospatial lab, update software and manage licenses for geospatial software.

Experience of working with undergraduate minority students and mentoring their research projects.

Effective oral, writing, and graphic design and cartography skills.
