What is General Warehouse II job Responsibilities?

• Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
• Count, sort, and verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Maintain inventory records and prepare reports.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling hazardous materials.

General Warehouse II job Skills:

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the
