Game Design Mathematician Jobs

Proficient knowledge or experience in design, invention, and fabrication of games.

Relevant and necessary skills: C# programming, experience with Unity or another game engine.

2+ years of extensive work experience in the field of game design.

Proven experience creating the fundamentals as well as different parts in a game or complex game systems.

Solid Knowledge in the following: ideation methodologies, playtesting cycles and prototyping.

Experience facilitating and teaching, preferably in an online environment.

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

Brief model requirements to all development disciplines.

Bachelor Degree in Mathematics or Statistics (or equivalent experience)

A strong understanding of and experience with probability theory

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to create complex spreadsheets

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Enthusiasm to work with students and pass on your knowledge and skills

Commercial experience designing games, ideally across a range of platforms and genres

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A desire to maintain and learn new skills relating to new technology and software used by industry.

Delivering the course content using a combination of practical tutorials, lectures and one to one support

Maintain active field research, analysis, and industry knowledge to clearly understand and convey player profiles to develop new features and products.

Has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Game Design, Engineering or equivalent experience.

Demonstrates outstanding data analysis and presentation skills.
