Detailed Job Description Full-time sonographers are responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as ultrasounds, to help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. They must be able to operate and maintain specialized equipment, as well as interpret and analyze the images they create. Sonographers must also be able to explain the procedure to the patient and answer any questions they may have. Additionally, they must be able to accurately document the results of the procedure. • Ability to accurately document results
