Fresh Foods Manager Jobs in Ohio

Must have knowledge of perishable items, specific information such as inflation/deflation cycles, inventory experience and knowledge of pricing.

Examine, select, order and purchase products at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements and other established factors.

Work in conjunction with the Director of Merchandising and Category Manager on any additional projects or needs.

Communicate vendor performance issues to category managers in a timely manner.

2+ years’ experience in perishable foods buying (produce, meats, or seafood).

Excellent strategic thinking and negotiating skills.
