Forklift Driver Lead Jobs in Ohio

Valid forklift operator certification or license.

Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and products within the warehouse or production area.

High school diploma or general education degree;

1 year of forklift driving experience

Move levers and pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.

Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.

Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.

Safety - Works safely; follows safety procedures; reports incidents, hazards and unsafe conditions timely

Trained and knowledgeable in the use of PPE (personal protective equipment).

Set down totes in a safe and organized manner in the tote brining area.

Move brined totes to the appropriate scale.

Weigh brine totes to their correct weight.

Repair totes when needed and separate usable from non-repairable totes.

Work with the Brining Dept. to ensure a steady supply of brine.

Previous leadership, warehouse & forklift experience in a fast-paced, LTL environment is necessary

Must have good loading and unloading skills.

Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.

Able to read manifests, supervise dock workers, and work in a fast-paced, team environment.
