Food Stylist Jobs

Take instructions from the food stylist manager, and read brand guidelines.

Make a shopping list based on shotlist and other shoot details, send list to food stylist manager before prep day.

Check in with the food stylist manager before leaving to ensure all duties have been completed

Ensure nails and cuticles are neat and camera ready

Receive ingredients on prep day and prep as much as possible for the shoot including gathering appropriate props.

One in-studio prep day may be required as well as one shoot day.

Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills

4+ years’ experience in preparing food for photography; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management

Manage production of food and work across sets if the schedule allows.

Manage the grocery shopping for the styling jobs.

Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)

Strong project and time management skills

Maintain and update project management documents for digital team leads

Familiar with using project management systems and creating spreadsheets (Workfront and Google suites preferred)

Estimate and manage project timelines and budgets according to shot lists and scripts

5+ years experience collaborating with creative teams, art directors, commercial photography and video teams

5+ years experience with food or prop styling for photography and video

Investment in your learning and education in professional and interpersonal skills.

Have 3+ years of previous food styling experience in commercial video and photography.

ServSafe certification is a plus.

Style demos for on air presentation, following demo guidelines established by manager and supervisor

Manage product consignment, which includes unpacking, packing, sorting, verifying quantity, and quality.

Perform daily kitchen-related responsibilities including: cooking, cleaning, shopping, food storage, food prep, food styling

Set up and style tables showcasing the product we are selling
