They work closely with food safety managers and other staff to ensure that all food safety regulations are followed and that food is prepared and stored in a safe and hygienic manner. Detailed Job Description The Food Safety Assistant is responsible for ensuring that food safety standards are met in a food production or service environment. This includes inspecting food products for safety and quality, ensuring that food is stored and prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, and monitoring food safety processes. The Food Safety Assistant is also responsible for ensuring that food safety regulations are followed and that food safety records are kept up to date. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
• Ability to inspect food products for safety and quality

• Knowledge of food storage and preparation techniques
