Food Production Inventory Control Clerk Jobs

Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.

Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred

Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.

Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.

Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Run/review various reports; data entry; and other projects as assigned for production control and potentially other departments (purchasing, engineering, and maintenance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent reading and comprehension skills

Trained and guided by professionals or department managers for tasks as needed.

Assignments are primarily tasks completed on a regular basis (daily and as needed) and/or as assigned by department managers.

Researches and resolves inventory related to Pick Slot Anomaly Report, Stock Outage Report, and Faulty Task Management Reports.

Manages all product that may appear at the "Product Resolution Area" (Bump Wall).

Pc skills, Excel, Power Point and Word.

Inventory Control Clerk - Full-time

Uses designated plans and processes completes assigned Cycle Count Plans.

Verifies pick and reserve locations and confirms accuracy of reported Inventory, makes adjustments as necessary.

Same as Level I plus willingness to learn new skills (ie. computer)

Work requires one-year institutional food preparation experience.

Work requires two years institutional food preparation experience.

Ensures compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.

Ensures accounts payable is current.

Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients and co-workers. Is responsive to customer needs.
