Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed)

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Food Court experience is preferred.

Must have strong communication skills.

Must be trainable or have cash register experience.

One year of experience in a cash-handling position.

Knowledge of proper cash handling procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Basic English reading and writing skills; proficient English conversation skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.

Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.

One (1) year of relevant dishwashing, school lunch, catering, or institutional school lunch, restaurant, café/deli, catering, or institutional food service experience

Initial review of minimum qualifications

Receiving food, equipment and supplies, and rotating inventory to meet federal, state and county standards

Delivering food throughout the facility and serving meals.

Using your IKEA Food knowledge to exceed customer expectations, confidently answering their questions so they can make informed purchase decisions.

Providing a friendly retail checkout experience by processing payments quickly and accurately.

1 year of experience in a high-volume customer facing environment

Maintaining the Swedish Food Market including merchandising and price communication.

Stocking, inventorying, and rotating supplies in areas where Swedish Food Market products are sold.

Following food handling, health, safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations and guidelines.

Builds and maintains knowledge of food and beverage offerings to ensure all questions answered appropriate and accurately.

Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.

Experience working in fast-paced, high volume fine dining, casual food service and/or nightclub is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

Greets guests and efficiently processes food and beverage orders and purchases through the Point of Sale (POS) System.

Maintains the accountability and security of their individual cash drawer.
