Have general knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite for Menu Sign creation and basic computer skills for other menu sign making assignments.

This is a non-exempt, full-time, benefits-eligible position.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Assist in the campus dining center.

Provide cashiering duties to include making multiple transactions on the POS, interaction with customers.

Penn State Hazleton Housing and Food Services is hiring a part time Cashier/Café Attendant.

Have a knowledge of basic cooking and food preparation techniques.

Place the carving items on the carving board and serve customers by slicing food items at carving station.

Provide support to culinary team by notifying them in a timely manner when certain food items are needed.

Execution of all assigned menu items in coordination with the expeditor on duty.

Ensure the highest possible standards of guest service are provided and listens and responds to guest and associate concerns and questions.

Set up the line for opening; break down stations and clean thoroughly after shift completion and or transition.
