Floor Work Technician Jobs in Alabama

Contribute to excellent hospital experience for patient and family

Experience in floor stripping preferred

Utilize the housekeeping process in cleaning and maintaining the interior floors of the hospital: sweeping, mopping and waxing

In addition to routine maintenance, spot and improve blemished floors

Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff

Warmly and consistently greet patients, visitors, and coworkers

Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System.

Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wax floors as scheduled by supervisor.

Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.

Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.

Prior cleaning or janitorial experience required

Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available

1 yr of similar work experience

Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.

Moving furniture before and after cleaning.

Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
