Overview A Floor Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the floors of a variety of commercial and residential buildings. They use a variety of cleaning equipment and products to ensure that the floors are kept in a safe and sanitary condition. Floor Technicians may also be responsible for stripping and waxing floors, as well as buffing and polishing them. Detailed Job Description A Floor Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the floors of a variety of commercial and residential buildings. They use a variety of cleaning equipment and products to ensure that the floors are kept in a safe and sanitary condition. This includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming the floors. Floor Technicians may also be responsible for stripping and waxing floors, as well as buffing and polishing them. They may also be responsible for cleaning carpets, rugs, and upholstery. Floor Technicians may also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining other areas of the building, such as bathrooms and kitchens. Job Skills Required
