Float Office Manager Jobs

Obtaining and verification of patient insurance information, and manage patient insurance requirements such as pre-authorizations

Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred

Serving as the liaison between attorneys, Resource Center departments , clinical staff, insurance companies, adjusters and nurse case managers and patients

Managing the communication of patient progress to physicians, nurse case managers, adjusters , attorneys via fax, email or phone

Supporting the Facility Manager with daily operations of the clinic

Supporting the Regional Manager and Regional Service Manager as requested to help grow the business

Monitors and handles case management for patients in the EHR system, as assigned.

Experience working in a role involving customer service preferred

Must have excellent customer service, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Has a basic knowledge of Microsoft office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Promptly answers assigned extensions using the correct salutation and follows script and completes patient reminder calls processes and procedures as assigned.

Performs insurance verification and coordinates services/authorizations for patients, as assigned.

2-5 years of experience in sales management or retail management; some combination of management and sales required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make decisions independently

Knowledge of Microsoft Office business applications

No late nights; limited Saturdays
