Overview A Flight Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of aircrafts. They inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircrafts to ensure they are safe and in working order. They also perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircrafts and their components. Detailed Job Description Flight Mechanics inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircrafts and their components. They inspect aircrafts for any signs of wear and tear, and perform routine maintenance and repairs. They also check for any safety issues and make sure all components are functioning properly. They may also be responsible for ordering and stocking parts and supplies. Flight Mechanics must be knowledgeable in aircraft systems and components, and must be able to read and interpret technical manuals. They must also be able to use specialized tools and equipment to perform repairs and maintenance. Skill Requirements
