Fleet Intake Coordinator Jobs in Louisiana

Coordinates pre-certification process, admissions process for patients admitted to facility programs, including admission forms, CIAs, and documents pertinent UR information.

Conducts assessments at facility or other locations, completes Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Assessments Initial Triage thoroughly.

Refers patients who are not appropriate for facility programs to appropriate resources.

Delivers patient services in a respectful manner which promotes dignity and patient satisfaction.

Identifies safety needs including ability to detect possible signs of abuse and neglect and report same to clinical staff.

Identifies special mobility and equipment needs of patients

1 year call center experience or prior knowledge of a health insurance pre-service authorization required

Responsible for timely management of appropriate verbal notifications and/or written materials to ensure compliance with regulatory and/or operational guidelines

Accountable for special assignments/projects as requested by management

This role does not manage people

Excellent listening, reading, comprehension, oral and written communication skills required

Effective organizational and interpersonal skills required
