Financial Reporting And Technical Accountant Jobs in New York

Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in Public Accounting or in a General Accounting role, CPG experience and CPA is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Prepare monthly financial statements and reports in an accurate and timely manner and understand the impacts of account activity.

Assist with analytics and document meaningful explanations for fluctuations.

Prepare and analyze month end accruals.

Perform first level ACH and wire approvals.

Work closely with Fund Accounting, Cash Management, Tax, Custody, and Portfolio Analysis Teams

Private Equity and/or Alternative Investment experience required ▪ Public company/SEC reporting experience helpful

Be an integral part of the quarterly and annual review of financial statements and tax returns

Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for certain investment holding companies

Review supporting schedules (such as cash reconciliations, interest calculations, company holding security reconciliations, investment cost schedules, etc.)

Audit Background; 2-3 year Staff or 1st year Senior ▪ CPA helpful but not mandatory
