Overview The Financial Reporting Director is responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements and other financial reports. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting. The Financial Reporting Director is also responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Detailed Job Description The Financial Reporting Director is responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements and other financial reports. This includes the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The Financial Reporting Director is also responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Financial Reporting Director will also be responsible for the preparation of financial analysis and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Job Skills Required
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or other professional certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting
• Experience in public accounting preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Understanding of financial analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Job Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting
• Experience in public accounting preferred
Job Responsibilities
• Prepare and review financial statements and other financial reports
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Prepare financial analysis and reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze financial performance
• Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures
• Provide guidance and support to other departments on financial reporting matters
• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and forecast
• Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and other documents for external auditors
