Finance Accounting Intern Jobs in California

Zero to one year experience in public accounting

Work in the Redlands, CA office

Able to perform tasks with ease and professionalism

Able to type 30 words per minute

Able to follow instructions, and read, write, and communicate clearly in English

Requires the physical ability to sit and type for long periods of time

Ability to manage multiple priorities with accurate results and timely completion, as outlined by management.

Strong writing and interpersonal skills and a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.

Strong grammar and written communication skills.

Competency in various Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Investigate and resolve customer queries.

Learn and assist with the monitoring and review of accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently and on a team

Strong computer and software skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts

Prepare journal entries and cash receipts

Review and monitor daily activity

Track participation statement status using a contract management system

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Secure internal approvals for participation payments and box office bonuses

Send statements and payment notifications to Lionsgate’s partners and talent reps via mail and email

Maintain records and overall organization of the department
