Overview A Fermentation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing fermentation processes for the production of bioproducts. They are responsible for developing and implementing new fermentation processes, as well as troubleshooting existing processes. They must be able to work with a variety of fermentation systems and equipment, and must be knowledgeable in the areas of biochemistry, microbiology, and engineering. Detailed Job Description A Fermentation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing fermentation processes for the production of bioproducts.
