Family Nurse Nurse Practitioner Jobs in Idaho

Provides education, support, and referral resources in assisting women and their families in attaining their targeted goals;

Actively engages in professional development to meet all NFP nurse home visitor competency requirements;

Experience in maternal-child health (L&D, Postpartum, Pediatrics, and/or NICU).

Develops therapeutic relationships, utilizes concepts of reflection and motivational interviewing with women and their families in a home visiting environment;

Performs home visiting in accordance with the NFP model and Visit-to-Visit Guidelines;

The LPNs job responsibilities will be limited by his/her license.

Provide on-going inmate education as related to health care needs and activities of daily living.

Have working knowledge of dietary needs.

Provide education and follow-up care for special needs inmates while incarcerated.

Have working knowledge of assessment and treatment for suicide prevention.

Prefer a minimum of three years of nursing experience in an established medical practice, clinic, etc.

Maintain competence in clinical practice with participation in continuing educational experiences and maintenance of Basic Life Support certification

Implement clinical education and training of clinical staff when necessary

Participate in WFH community education and outreach programs

Clinical training and experience in ambulatory care in a community healthcare setting
