Job Description of Family Medicine Physician Needed The Family Medicine Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. The physician will diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions, provide preventive care, and coordinate care with other health care providers. The physician will also provide education to patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of family medicine principles and practices
• Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage a busy practice
• Knowledge of medical technology and equipment
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records
Job Qualifications
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in family medicine
• Current state medical license
• CPR certification
• At least two years of experience in family medicine
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of family medicine principles and practices
• Knowledge of medical technology and equipment
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of current medical treatments and procedures
• Knowledge of medical ethics and laws
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in family medicine
• Experience in a clinical setting
• Experience in patient education
• Experience in managing a busy practice
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions
• Provide preventive care and coordinate care with other health care providers
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatments
